Election Results: Political Parties Not Satisfied Should Seek Redress At The Court – SDP Presidential Candidate
The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Prince Adewole Adebayo, has urged the presidential candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) to approach the court if they are not satisfied with the results given by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Prince Adebayo said this in a tweets he shared via his official Twitter page on Tuesday 28th February, 2023.
He also took a swipe at former President of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Obasanjo over his recent letter addressed to president Muhammadu Buhari, calling on him to interfere in the ongoing electoral process.
According to Adebayo, the call by the former president is dangerous, unlawful and dangerous.
“Very unlawful, unconstitutional, dangerous letter by @Oolusegun_obj. @MBuhari cannot interfere with @inecnigeria while collating election results. Parties can protest to @inecnigeria and if not satisfied, go to court for redress as @TheSDPNg in Ekiti and @OfficialAPCNg in Osun,” he said
