Spanish giant, Barcelona has sacked the club’s head coach, Ronald Koeman.
Barca owner, Joan Laporta decided to sack Koeman after Wednesday night defeat to Rayo Vallecano.
The club’s legendary midfielder and current head coach of Al Sadd, Xavi has been tipped as the favourite to takeover the Barcelona job.
According to football transfer journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Xavi would love to comeback as announced recently – Barça board already made contacts with him weeks ago.
Out of 10 matches played, Koeman has only led the team to 4 wins, 3 draws, and 3 lost in La Liga.
Barca now sit 9th on the La Liga table, after their loss away from home to Rayo Vallecano yesterday.
