The Federal Government of Nigeria has given a new directive to N-Power Batch C applicants on how the selection process will be conducted.
It is no news that Nigerians have waited and anticipated the commencement of the selection process for the N-power batch C in which a record breaking number applied for early last year and nothing has been said concerning the selection process ever since.
Sadiya Farouq, the minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development, yesterday disclosed that the selection process has begun and that the (NASIMS) National Social Investment Management System has been launched in order to make it easier for the management of the selection process.
She said in a thread of tweets that the selection process for the N-Power Batch C members will be done in a centralized system and she also noted that informations of all N-Power Batch C applicants have been migrated onto the NASIMS platform.
She added that all the applicants will be required to undergo a mandatory online test as part of the selection process.
“Based on the implementation experiences since 2016, and the impact of the COVID-19, these Social Intervention Programmes are undergoing a series of strategic realignment and restructuring with the view to optimise their operations, maximise their impacts and drive efficient coordination and management aimed to deliver even more socio-economic benefits to the poor and vulnerable.
“Therefore all applicants are enjoined to do all the necessary things during this period,” she tweeted
